Uidai.gov.in enrollment status:


First of all if you are going to check UID card status you should have an internet connection. Without internet as you know it’s not possible to check aadhar card online status. Read the instructions below on how to check aadhaar status online.

  1.      First step is going to the official website i.e. www.uidai.gov.in.
  2.      Go to the online page of card status.
  3.      Click the Aadhaar card status button.
  4.      Next, enter the 28 digit Enrollment ID in given box.
  5.       Enter the security code asking on page.
  6.       Click on "Check Status".
  7.       Your Aadhar status will appear on the screen.

Aadhar Card Status Enquiry Offline:


This method is for those who do not have internet connection. You can check make aadhaar status enquiry by SMS. This will not take more time. See below instruction for adhar status check offline.

  •          Open create new massage in your phone.
  •          Type UID STATUS <Enrollment Number>, in the message body.
  •          Text it to 51969.
  •          You will receive a message from UIDAI.
  •          Open the message and read the status.
  •          If you have messaged form the registered number, you will get the aadhaar number also.

You can download you card using the 12 digit aadhar number. Enrollment number is 14 digits number. EID is 28 digits number. So, do not confuse between EID number and Enrollment number. First 14 digits number of EID is Enrollment number. For enquiry of aadhaar enrollment status by SMS, enter the enrollment number and for online enter the EID number whhich is 28 digit.This number is provided in the acknowledgement slip. If you do not have the slip you cannot check status anyway.

How to check Enrollment number:

Some people are confused and they do not find Enrollment number. Enrollment number is 12 digit numbers. So, don’t be confused about Enrollment number.
